Thrissur: Traveling through the forest might be difficult if you aren't on a hiking expedition at a recognised tourist destination. One may easily get lost or perhaps run into dangerous animals while travelling.
But when his automobile was involved in an accident on Monday night, a local of Chalakudy in Kerala's Thrissur did just that. Before seeing another person, the man walked 20 kilometres via woodland roads at night instead of only a few! According to stories, herds of wild animals frequently travelled the roads he took.
When the event occurred, the man was driving from Chalakudy to see a cousin at Malakkappara in Thrissur. Near Shorigal, a deer leaped in front of the car, causing the driver to lose control. He was fortunate to escape unharmed despite the fact that the car turtled, according to a report by Malayala Manorama.
The driver made the decision to follow the route along the woodland path because he believed that spending the night alone in the forest region would make him a sitting duck. The news report said that he didn't realise he had left in the wrong direction for his destination.
Twenty kilometres of the woodland trail later, he eventually saw a team from Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), who told him that he had missed his way. Later that day, the government workers drove him to Malakkappara and dumped him off there, according to the news source.
In the meantime, a KSRTC bus observed the registered vehicle and called the police to report the collision. The fact that the driver was nowhere to be seen near the automobile caused the police to start to worry about him.
